Boone County Fire Protection District (BCFPD) is a contracted Training Center (TC) for the American Heart Association (AHA). BCFPD has approximately 500 AHA instructors aligned with their TC. Our Training Center supports the AHA through administrative, educational programs and by providing quality assurance for the AHA courses provided by BCFPD. Our primary instructor is a regional faculty for all three disciplines; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS-CPR) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). He also has served in the position as National Faculty for ACLS and BLS for Missouri’s AHA ECC Committee. We provide ACLS, BLS and PALS education and training for physicians, nurses, paramedics, EMT’s and other allied healthcare personnel. We also provide public CPR and First Aid Training.
