America’s fire service, as we know it today, has evolved into an “all-risk” service delivery system. The core services provided by the Fire Protection District include fire suppression activities, rescue and emergency medical services. All personnel within the Boone County Fire Protection District are trained and equipped to respond to these basic core functions and responsibilities within our jurisdiction.

Additionally, a number of other specialty programs have been developed to meet the growing and expanding needs of our community and, simultaneously, allow our volunteer personnel to develop keener and more advanced skills in various specialty areas of interest. These specialty teams have been created to expand our capabilities and allow us to create intense focus in specialized training arenas.
