Welcome to the Boone County Fire Protection District’s website. It is our intent to use this technology to inform those of you who are protected by our organization of the many facets of and services provided by your fire department. It is also our intention, through this medium, to inform prospective volunteer firefighters of the many and varied opportunities of service which our organization offers.

The Boone County Fire Protection District, as you will see, is a very unique and dynamic organization. It has a long history of commitment to our community, a passion for excellence and an enthusiasm to serve unmatched by others.

The Boone County Fire Protection District is much more than your stereotypical fire department. Our personnel have continued to reach, pursue and to challenge themselves in an effort to make the organization and themselves better. Mediocrity has no place in our organization, our mission is simply too important. We are fortunate that we have been able to recruit the caliber of men and women that presently comprise the Boone County Fire Protection District and Missouri Task Force 1. These are exceptional people with exceptional capabilities and we are so very proud of each and every one of them.

We are equally as proud of the continued support and belief in the organization by those we serve. The taxpayers of the Boone County Fire Protection District have consistently and overwhelmingly supported our funding initiatives as we have continued to improve, expand and enhance the services provided to them. It is an incredible partnership of which we are exceptionally proud. I am confident that I speak for all 300 personnel of our organization when I say to you what a pleasure and honor it is to serve this special community. It is indeed an honor that we take very, very seriously.
