Emergency Preparedness
Welcome to the Boone County Fire District's Emergency Preparedness web site. It contains information and resources regarding disaster mitigation, preparedness, response and recovery for citizens, schools and businesses. We urge all of Boone County's citizens, schools and businesses to prepare responsibly for disaster by finding out about hazards present in the community, preparing a disaster supplies kit and practicing and maintaining your disaster plan.
Our "goal" is to help our citizens, schools and businesses prepare for and cope with any type of emergency. A large portion of our responsibility is to educate the general public, schools and businesses on disaster preparedness and response. You will find documents related to emergency preparedness in the document library. These documents can be viewed and printed with Adobe Acrobat Reader. Some files may take several minutes to download on a dial-up connection. We hope that you find the information informative and useful.
